Enterprise IT World “DC Summit and Awards 2021” Concluded Successfully

Enterprise IT World “DC Summit and Awards 2021” Presented by Dell Technologies and Hitachi concluded successfully with a record number of turn out of the CIOs and IT Leaders from India and overseas market. The half day event saw keynote presentations from Hitachi, AdaniConneX and TeamViewer.

Welcoming the Guests, Sanjay Mohapatra, Editor, Enterprise IT World spoke about the need of IT parks in India and government’s willingness to making India a Data Centre hub.

Speaking during his keynote Mrigank Mishra, Sr. Associate Vice President, Hitachi Systems Micro Clinic not only spoke about the trends in the data centre market but also, he highlighted about the advantage of Hitachi and Dell Technologies advantage for the CIOs.

Similarly, Sanjay Bhutani, Senior Vice President, AdaniConneX offered the glimpses of the future technologies how AdaniConneX can be a great value for the enterprises. Krunal Patel, Director, TeamViewer spoke about the growth in the collaboration market and what TeamViewer has to offer to them.

The beauty of the event was the panel discussion on “Future of Data Centres”, which was moderated by BS Rao, Vice President, Marketing, CtrlS Datacenters Ltd. and panellists were Dr. Mukesh Mehta, CTO – CISO – Batlivala & Karani Securities India Pvt. Ltd., Puneesh Lamba, Chief Technology Officer – Shahi Exports Pvt. Ltd., Anil Porter, AVP IT & GDS Services, CIO – InterGlobe Technology and Piyush Gupta, Associate Vice President, AdaniConneX. There was huge debate about advantage and disadvantages of the On-premise Data Centres and Outsourced Data Centres from perspective of cost to the customers, manageability, energy efficiency, reducing carbon footprint and security. However, there was also discussion on cloud computing in both the environments. The panel had to answer a flurry of questions from the attendees.

Following this was the fireside chat on BCP among Amit Luthra, Director and GM, Storage Platforms & Solutions, Dell Technologies India and Sanjay Mohapatra, Group Editor, Enterprise IT World, where Amit explained about the BCP trends, best practices of the CIOs, Dell Technologies storage offerings and DC and DR trends.

The final part of the event was the much-awaited section where 100 CIOs were given DC Champion 2021 awards and lucky draw to 10 CIOs. Of course, there was a corporate video play of CtrlS Datacentre where the company wanted express about the CIOs’ advantage to work with the company.

The event was presented by Dell Technologies and Hitachi, gold partners were AdaniConneX, CtrlS and Team Viewer and branding partner was Web Werks Data Centres. The event was attended by more than 400 CIOs and IT leaders.
