Dell Services Named a Leader in Digital Transformation Services

Digital Focus market segment includes new digital business models or digital offers such as Internet of Things (IoT), e-Commerce and analytics

Dell Services has been positioned as a leader in the Digital Focus market segment in the recently released NelsonHall Digital Transformation Services NEAT evaluation. The report assesses and evaluates Dell’s proposition against demand for Digital Transformation Services, which includes big data and analytics, e-commerce, IoT and cloud services.

“Fundamentally, digital transformation shakes up traditional ways of sourcing IT services.” says Dominique Raviart, ITO Research Director at NelsonHall. “Digital transformation is less about finding a vendor with traditional strengths of scale and industrialization, and more about vendors able to integrate disparate technologies, applying a consulting approach, and focusing on customer experience – all of this at the right price. Dell demonstrated all of those capabilities.”

“With digital transformation, customers can create new business models, enhance customer experience, improve employee engagement and improve efficiencies across business operations.” said Raman Sapra, executive director and global head, Dell Digital Business Services. “We are seeing tremendous uptake for our business-first approach and robust digital offerings from our customers across industries. This leader recognition reiterates the success and momentum we are able to give to our customers.”

The NEAT tool assesses vendors against their ‘ability to deliver immediate benefit’ and their ‘ability to meet client future requirements’. NelsonHall evaluated 17 vendors for this report. The scoring of the vendors is based on a combination of analyst assessment, principally around measurements of the ability to deliver immediate benefit, and feedback from interviewing of vendor clients, principally in support of measurements of levels of partnership and ability to meet future client requirements.

As a leader in the NEAT evaluation, Dell is recognized by NelsonHall as a vendor that exhibits both a high ability relative to their peers to deliver immediate benefit and a high capability relative to their peers to meet client future requirements.
