Dell Recognizes Channel Partner for their Hard work

Re-iterates Commitment to Channel Partners at India Partner Summit 2015, Prague

Dell hosted the ‘Dell India Partner Summit’, the largest channel partner and ecosystem event for Dell India till date. The summit was a gathering of 100 top performing preferred and strategic Channel Partners and Distributors of Dell in Prague from 14th – 17th May, 2015. The theme of the summit was ‘Partnerships’ and aimed at further engaging closely with them to understand their challenges and seek feedback, sharing ideas, and discussing strategies and programs to improve sales.

The Partner Summit – 2015 was an opportunity to further strengthen these partnerships, strategically align ourselves with our channel partners and maximize effectiveness through this route-to-market. The platform raised important discussions surrounding improving customer satisfaction and ensuring smoother transactions. We are looking forward to another year of great partnerships and phenomenal success through the Channel Route.”

Dell felicitated top performing channel partners and distributors with awards in terms of revenue, commitment and contributions to the Dell Commercial Business. Among the 16 key awards presented included the Dell Excellence Award presented to IRIS Computers Ltd for Exemplary Contribution to the IT Industry in India.

The four-day summit consisted of engaging and relevant sessions from Dell leaders including Alok Ohrie, President and Managing Director, Dell India and Anil Sethi, Director and General Manager, Channels, Dell India. Sessions specific to enterprise hardware and software were given by Manish Gupta, Director, Enterprise Solutions Group, Dell India and Murli Mohan, Director & General Manager, Dell Software respectively to better highlight the innovations taking place by Dell in the space. There was also a session by technology Industry Leader Milan Sheth from Ernst & Young who presented on —“Unlocking Your Organization’s Value”.

The event agenda was crafted to be a truly ‘regal experience’ for participating channel partners with an opportunity to experience the finest in Prague. There was a guest appearance from celebrity Mandira Bedi who hosted a Gala dinner. An exclusive mobile app was also created with real time updates, extensive destination related communication, exciting quizzes and polls.

Since Dell’s entry to the Commercial Channel space, the company has been committed in its efforts towards improving and building the trust of its channel partners and the ecosystem. Dell has seen great success through its channel route to market and today the Dell Channel Revenue globally represent over 40% of Dell’s revenue. Dell in India has over 3,000 registered partners in addition to 800 distribution partners across the country.
