The Challenge

Cosmic was looking for scalable voice solution which can be upgraded or downgraded as quickly as possible without much changes in the existing infrastructure. It was also looking for a proven technology to record missed calls and fetch the database from the portal.

Solutions offered by TDBS

To address the challenges faced by Cosmic, TDBS provided it with Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) Trunk on IP platform which helped in reducing infrastructure cost by eliminating the need for local PSTN gateways, costly ISDN BRIs (Basic Rate Interfaces) or PRIs (Primary Rate Interfaces). SIP Trunk has higher call maturity ratio in comparison to conventional PSTN PRIs hence generating more revenue with less infrastructure. Cosmic was also provided with the Call Registry Service (CRS) for pan-India coverage on a toll free number and captured caller details transferred to customer on real time basis through API.

The complete ICT solution offered to Cosmic is on TDBS’ hosted platform. There was no Capex incurred in setting up the services.

 Outcome

The ICT solutions provided by TDBS resolved the challenges faced by Cosmic. The company now avails highly flexible and scalable voice service, which has improved the overall productivity and business prospects.
