Capgemini bags major application services contract with EU electricity giant TenneT

Capgemini announced that its Dutch subsidiary, Capgemini Nederland B.V., has signed a new contract with TenneT, a leading European electricity transmission system operator with its main activities in the Netherlands and Germany. Under the three and a half year agreement, Capgemini will deliver application services for TenneT’s generic IT landscape, including application development, maintenance, and innovation.

The scope of the generic IT landscape includes: Enterprise Resource Management applications, Customer Relationship Management applications, Content Management Systems, Human Resource Management Systems, Record Management Systems, and IT Service Management Systems.

As per the release, Capgemini was awarded the new contract on June 19th 2017 after a public tender process.
