Atlassian Appoints Shamik Sharma as Newest Head of Engineering, India

Shamik will also lead Commerce & Enterprise Agility

Atlassian Corporation has appointed Shamik Sharma to Head of Engineering, Commerce and Enterprise Agility. Shamik will report directly to Rajeev Rajan, CTO of Atlassian.

Shamik, with nearly three decades of technology and engineering experience, recently joined Atlassian. In the past 5+ years, he co-founded and contributed to Cure.fit/Cult.sport. Before that, he served as CTO and CPO at Myntra in the Flipkart group. He is skilled in scaling organizations from small teams to large and specialized teams, and he has a history of building innovative products in diverse areas such as e-commerce, digital advertising, gaming, digital media, social networks, enterprise software, and consumer electronics. Shamik holds an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Maryland and a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
