Array Named to 2016 Magic Quadrant for WAN Optimization

Recognized for the fourth consecutive year by Gartner based on completeness of vision and ability to execute

Array Networks has been recognized in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for WAN Optimization for the fourth consecutive year. Array believes its inclusion for 2016 reflects a broadening of its aCelera product line in the areas of cloud and virtualization, enhanced feature capabilities and strong overall value – as well as continued traction in India in support of key storage partner solutions.

As per the release, Array aCelera speeds data transfers and reduces application response times over wide area networks by reducing the amount of traffic transmitted between remote offices, remote users, data centers and clouds. Supporting up to 1Gbps throughput, Array WAN optimization controllers include functionality such as compression, deduplication, HTTP, TCP, Common Intern File System (CIFS), Messaging APO (MAPI), Citrix Independent Computing Architecture (ICA), traffic shaping and quality of service (QoS).

The report noted, “Most wide-area networks carry a variety of application traffic types of differing characteristics and importance. Many organizations are striving to manage this traffic to optimize the response times of critical applications and to reduce costs, given that bandwidth continues to represent a significant proportion of operating expenditure for wide-area data networks.”

Michael Zhao, President and CEO of Array Networks said, “Providing superior price-performance for WAN optimization, as well as a full end-to-end application delivery solution continues to be a winning strategy for Array’s emerging market efforts,” “We are encouraged to see our strengths and strategies evaluated in the latest Gartner Magic Quadrant and are committed to further improvement based on meeting and exceeding customer expectations.”
