Amit Shukla Joins FIAT India Automobiles as Chief Information Officer

FIAT India Automobiles has appointed Amit Shukla as its new Chief Information Officer (CIO), strengthening its leadership team as the company accelerates its digital transformation and technology modernization initiatives.

A seasoned business technology leader with nearly three decades of experience, Amit brings deep expertise in enterprise IT, digital transformation, cybersecurity, SAP transformation, cloud technologies, data governance, and business technology strategy. Throughout his career, he has successfully aligned technology investments with business objectives across diverse industries including automotive, FMCG, pharma, manufacturing, engineering, petrochemicals, agrochemicals, retail, and textiles.

Prior to joining FIAT India Automobiles, Amit served as Vice President – IT (CIO) at Crystal Crop Protection Limited. He has also held senior leadership roles at Mankind Pharma, Kirloskar Brothers Limited as Group CIO, RSPL Group, Finolex Industries, Tata Technologies, Trident Group, IBM India, and Videocon Industries.

Amit is widely recognized for leading large-scale digital and SAP transformation programs, including S/4HANA implementations, enterprise architecture modernization, cybersecurity initiatives, smart manufacturing projects, AI/ML adoption, RPA deployments, and global technology programs spanning the US, Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Asia.

He is also a Project Management Professional (PMP®) and has been recognized among India’s Top 100 CIOs and IT Leaders by IDG Foundry in multiple years, reflecting his contribution to the technology leadership community.

At FIAT India Automobiles, Amit is expected to drive the company’s next phase of digital innovation, focusing on modernizing enterprise systems, strengthening cybersecurity, enabling data-driven decision-making, and supporting business growth through technology-led transformation.
