The SKY programme will deploy Oracle Fusion Cloud across finance, procurement and supply chain operations, targeting greater efficiency, improved decision-making and measurable business value.
Cognizant has been selected by SITA, a specialist in air transport technology, as the implementation and transformation partner for its SKY programme, a global initiative to modernise finance, procurement and supply chain operations through a cloud-based, AI-enabled enterprise platform.
The programme will support SITA’s operations across more than 200 countries and territories, connecting core business functions through a shared data foundation and standardised processes. The objective is to move finance beyond routine reporting and transaction processing towards a more strategic role in planning, performance management and business growth.
Cognizant will implement a cloud-based enterprise resource planning and management platform using Oracle Fusion Cloud. The platform will integrate planning, forecasting, project management and procurement, enabling SITA to align resources more closely with business priorities and identify opportunities earlier.
“By standardizing core processes on Oracle Fusion Cloud and building AI into how we operate, we aim to create a more agile finance organization and a strong foundation for our next phase of growth.”
— Nicolas Husson, Chief Financial Officer, SITA
The transformation will combine embedded platform AI capabilities with Cognizant’s generative and agentic AI capabilities. Drawing on experience from more than 800 cloud ERP projects, Cognizant plans to introduce AI agents into finance and related workflows to accelerate delivery and support day-to-day decision-making.
“By bringing together our cloud platform expertise, AI capabilities and end-to-end transformation experience, we will help SITA build a modern data and operating model foundation,” said Saket Gulati, Senior Vice President and Head of Northern Europe at Cognizant.
Roshan Subudhi, SVP and Head of Global Markets – Intelligent Enterprise Platforms at Cognizant, said the programme would help finance, procurement and supply chain teams work more closely together through agentic AI and Oracle Fusion expertise.
For SITA, the initiative reflects a broader effort to make enterprise technology a foundation for agility and growth. Its success will depend on translating platform modernisation and AI capabilities into improved operational performance and measurable business outcomes.
