DS Group Puts Technology at the Heart of Growth Strategy with ASCEND 2026

Dharampal Satyapal Group (DS Group) has concluded the inaugural edition of ASCEND 2026, a three-day technology-focused event that brought together more than 5,000 employees, business leaders, industry experts, and technology partners to explore the role of digital innovation in shaping the future of business. Held at the company’s headquarters from July 27 to 29 under the theme “Diversified by Business. United by Technology,” the event underscored DS Group’s commitment to technology-driven transformation as it pursues its long-term growth ambitions.

The technology experience showcased practical applications of emerging technologies including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Generative AI, Agentic AI, Machine Learning, Data Analytics, Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, Data Privacy, Enterprise Applications, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Industry 4.0, and Sustainability Technologies. Leading technology companies such as SAP, Microsoft, Salesforce, Snowflake, PwC, EY, Deloitte, Grant Thornton, Bizom, Mitsubishi, PeopleStrong, and o9 Solutions participated, demonstrating how digital innovations are generating measurable business outcomes across industries.

Over the last three years, DS Group has significantly accelerated its digital transformation journey, doubling investments in technology, expanding its technology ecosystem from around 20 partners to more than 50, and implementing enterprise-wide digital solutions across its businesses. As the company approaches its centenary, it plans to further increase technology investments, viewing digital innovation as a critical enabler of future growth.

Technology today is not merely about digitising processes; it is about reimagining the way businesses create value. As we move towards becoming a ₹20,000 crore organisation by our centenary year, technology will be one of our strongest growth enablers,” said Santosh K. Singh, Senior Vice President, Information Technology, DS Group.

Designed as a paperless and digital-first event, ASCEND 2026 also highlighted DS Group’s focus on responsible and sustainable growth. Through interactive demonstrations, innovation labs, workshops, and expert-led discussions, the event encouraged employees to embrace experimentation, continuous learning, and cross-functional collaboration.

With the successful completion of ASCEND 2026, DS Group has reinforced its position as one of the few FMCG organizations driving an enterprise-wide digital transformation agenda. The company believes that future business success will increasingly depend on the intelligent application of technology across the entire value chain, from operations and supply chains to customer engagement and decision-making.
