New offering combines AI capabilities with secure cloud architecture for regulated industries

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has announced the launch of its SovereignSecure Cloud offering in Europe, expanding its global cloud portfolio to address the growing need for secure, compliant, and sovereign digital infrastructure across the region.

Designed for governments, public sector organizations, and highly regulated industries, the SovereignSecure Cloud™ integrates sovereign cloud architecture with advanced AI capabilities. The solution aims to ensure control over data, operations, and digital systems while maintaining the agility required for modern enterprise innovation.

The launch comes amid increasing demand across the European Union for digital autonomy and stronger regulatory compliance frameworks. TCS said its offering enables enterprises to operate within stringent EU regulations while continuing to leverage scalable hyperscaler environments.

The solution is built on a multi-layered architecture. At its core is a sovereign cloud layer delivered through hyperscalers, ensuring flexibility and scalability within EU regulatory boundaries. This is complemented by a national sovereign cloud layer that enables country-specific data localization and governance. On top of this, TCS provides an enterprise cloud services layer powered by its EU-specific Enterprise Cloud Framework, allowing organizations to dynamically manage workloads based on risk, compliance needs, and operational priorities.

“European organizations are looking to strike a balance between addressing supply chain and sovereignty risks while ensuring leverage of frontier technologies to be globally competitive,” said Sapthagiri Chapalapalli, Head of Europe at TCS.

In addition to the platform, TCS has introduced its Sovereignty Consulting and Delivery Framework in Europe. This approach helps enterprises adopt a “minimum viable sovereign” model, categorizing workloads based on sensitivity and applying appropriate levels of control. The framework ensures that businesses can optimize security investments while maintaining operational efficiency.

The rollout builds on the successful deployment of SovereignSecure Cloud™ in India in 2025, followed by expansions into Kenya, East Africa, and the Philippines.

With over 45 years of presence in Europe, TCS continues to support digital transformation for leading enterprises across sectors including banking, manufacturing, telecom, and retail. Through its network of 10 data centers and 21 delivery locations in the region, the company aims to help organizations achieve digital sovereignty without compromising innovation or performance.

The launch underscores TCS’s commitment to enabling secure, AI-driven cloud adoption as Europe accelerates its digital transformation journey.
