Former National Cyber Security Coordinator to help strengthen cybersecurity advisory and resilience strategies for global enterprises
Inspira Enterprise has announced the appointment of Lt Gen (Dr) Rajesh Pant as Strategic Advisor. In his new role, the former National Cyber Security Coordinator under the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), Government of India, will support the company in shaping its cybersecurity advisory strategy and strengthening enterprise cyber resilience initiatives.
Lt Gen Pant served as National Cyber Security Coordinator in the National Security Council Secretariat from 2019 to 2023, where he played a significant role in advancing India’s cybersecurity posture. During his tenure, India improved its position in the United Nations Global Cybersecurity Index from 47th to 10th place globally.
At Inspira Enterprise, he will guide organizations in aligning cybersecurity strategies with broader business objectives while helping them address increasingly sophisticated and AI-driven cyber threats. His role will also focus on strengthening advisory services and supporting enterprises in building resilient digital ecosystems.

Before serving in the PMO, Lt Gen Pant headed the Indian Army’s cyber training establishment and spent over four decades in the Army Signals Corps. He has been awarded three times by the President of India for distinguished service.
According to the company, the appointment aligns with its focus on delivering adaptive and intelligence-led cybersecurity solutions across industries including BFSI, healthcare, public sector, manufacturing, education, oil and gas, and utilities.

Lt Gen Pant has represented India at several international cybersecurity forums, including the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting on Cybersecurity, the Global Cybersecurity Forum in Riyadh, QUAD cyber dialogues, and global ransomware resilience initiatives. He also holds a PhD in Information Security and academic qualifications from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, University of Madras, and Osmania University.
