Airport Development Group Selects Infor to Modernise Operations and Reporting

Airport Development Group (ADG), operator of key Northern Australian airports, has selected Infor to support a major transition of its enterprise systems as part of a broader modernisation strategy.

The move is aimed at future-proofing ADG’s operations across aviation, hospitality, infrastructure, and property management while improving operational integration and reporting capabilities.

“Infor provides the capability to support the next phase of our systems transition,” said Tony Edmondstone, Chief Executive Officer, Airport Development Group.

Under the agreement, ADG will implement Infor CloudSuite Public Sector to streamline business processes, reduce reliance on manual workarounds, and provide greater visibility across operations. The platform is expected to enhance governance, operational reporting, and data management in what is a highly regulated industry environment.

ADG said the decision comes as the organisation continues to evolve and requires more connected systems capable of supporting the growing complexity of its operations. The company manages major assets including Darwin International Airport, Alice Springs Airport, and Tennant Creek Airport.

The transition is part of a larger initiative to modernise core systems and align operational and reporting functions across the business. According to ADG, the new platform will help improve integration between departments and strengthen how operational data is captured, analysed, and reported.

“Infor CloudSuite Public Sector will provide a more integrated view of operations,” said Aidan Brecknell, Vice President & Managing Director ANZ, Infor.

Infor highlighted that the cloud-based platform will provide ADG with a more unified operational framework, enabling better oversight and decision-making across its diverse portfolio.

Implementation of the new system will occur in phases, with the initial go-live planned for December 2026. ADG is also exploring opportunities to expand the platform into additional business areas in the future.

Backed by IFM Investors and Palisade Investment Partners, Airport Development Group oversees infrastructure assets approaching AUD 3 billion in value and plays a significant role in the Northern Territory’s economy. Beyond airport operations, the organisation also invests in tourism, hospitality, commercial property, and community development initiatives.
