Zoho Marks 30 Years, Crosses One Million Paying Customers

Company records strong global growth, celebrates milestone at India AI Impact Summit 2026

Zoho Corporation, one of India’s most influential home-grown technology companies, marked its 30th anniversary with two major milestones: surpassing one million paying customers and 150 million global users across its product portfolio. The announcement was made on the sidelines of the India AI Impact Summit 2026, underscoring Zoho’s continued influence on India’s digital economy.

In 2025, Zoho recorded 32% year-on-year growth in customers and a 20% increase in revenue, reflecting rising global demand for its cloud, IT management, and business automation platforms. The company comprising Zoho, ManageEngine, Qntrl, and TrainerCentral has remained fully bootstrapped, profitable, and privately held throughout its journey.

“Being bootstrapped, private, and built entirely in-house makes Zoho an outlier,” said Sridhar Vembu, Co‑founder and Chief Scientist. “For 30 years, every product, strategy, or innovation first had to answer one question ‘Will this help businesses?’ That principle will continue to guide us as we support the evolving needs of organisations worldwide.”

With a strong foundation in deep-tech R&D, Zoho has steadily moved upmarket, especially in India, by offering domain-specific platforms with low-code and no-code capabilities. This approach has helped enterprises accelerate deployment, reduce costs, and achieve faster ROI. Zoho now counts Mercedes-Benz India, Force Motors, Joyalukkas, and Union Bank of India among its major customers, while collaborating with partners like TCS, PwC, and Deloitte to deliver sector-focused solutions.

Its enterprise arm, ManageEngine, continues to serve as a critical pillar, powering IT operations and cybersecurity for global organisations. From traditional on‑prem systems to hybrid and AI-driven environments, ManageEngine’s unified platform supports networks, servers, Active Directory, security, service desks, and endpoints trusted by companies like Samsung Electronics, Omega Healthcare, Narayana Healthcare, and GMR WAISL.

In his keynote at the summit, Vembu emphasised the importance of experimentation during AI-driven transitions. He urged Indian companies to stay agile, invest deeply in R&D, and cultivate optimism to position the nation as a global AI leader.
