CrowdStrike has strengthened its leadership bench with the appointment of Jonathon Dixon as vice president and managing director for the Japan and Asia Pacific (JAPAC) theater, marking a strategic move to accelerate the company’s AI-driven cybersecurity momentum across one of the world’s fastest-growing digital markets. Announced on February 11, 2026, the appointment underscores CrowdStrike’s focus on expanding the adoption of its flagship Falcon platform across JAPAC.

With more than 25 years of cybersecurity and IT leadership experience, Dixon brings deep regional expertise and a proven ability to scale high‑growth technology businesses. His career spans senior roles at AWS, Cisco, and IBM, along with transformative leadership positions at Cloudflare and, most recently, Verkada where he led go‑to‑market and operational teams to expand its footprint across the region. At Cloudflare, he oversaw the APJC theater’s evolution into the company’s fastest‑growing region, driven by his emphasis on GTM excellence, partner ecosystem development, and customer‑centric execution.

“As cyber threats accelerate, strong regional leadership is essential and Jonathon brings exactly that.”

— Michael Sentonas, President, CrowdStrike

CrowdStrike President Michael Sentonas highlighted how Dixon’s arrival strengthens the company’s momentum. “He brings a rare mix of regional insight and experience scaling businesses, which will be critical to our continued growth,” Sentonas said. “JAPAC is an important growth theater as organizations modernize their security for the AI era.”

Dixon expressed enthusiasm about joining the company at a time when artificial intelligence is redefining cybersecurity. “CrowdStrike is leading cybersecurity in the AI era, delivering the game‑changing technology that organizations throughout JAPAC need to secure a rapidly evolving threat landscape,” he said. “I am thrilled to be joining CrowdStrike as the company continues to revolutionize cybersecurity and define AI‑native platform protection.”

As enterprises across JAPAC face increasingly sophisticated adversaries, the CrowdStrike Falcon platform powered by the CrowdStrike Security Cloud and world‑class AI continues gaining traction for its hyper‑accurate detections, real‑time threat intelligence, and cloud‑native architecture designed for scale.

With Dixon’s appointment, CrowdStrike reinforces its leadership in the region and continues its mission: “We stop breaches.”
