In a landmark move for India’s higher education sector, Yotta Data Services has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) to create a large-scale AI-enabled education delivery model that promises to redefine learning for millions of students. The agreement, announced at the National Conclave on AI Evolution – The Mahakumbh of AI, was presided over by the Vice President of India, Shri C.P. Radhakrishnan, alongside other eminent dignitaries including the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi and the Education Minister of Delhi.

Under this collaboration, Yotta will deploy its sovereign cloud infrastructure to power an AI-driven learning ecosystem, ensuring enterprise-grade uptime, cybersecurity, and data privacy. The initiative will deliver 350+ AI-powered courses free of cost to over 200,000 students across 125+ GGSIPU-affiliated colleges, making GGSIPU the first university in India to implement such an AI automation framework. Over the next three years, the partners will establish a dedicated AI Learning Lab, introduce interactive AI-powered courses across disciplines, and create a scalable model that can be replicated nationwide.
Sunil Gupta, Co-Founder & CEO of Yotta Data Services, emphasized the vision: “With Einstein-grade intelligence, the main charter of this unified AI automation in education is to overcome the current limitations in learning delivery, where the number of students per course is constrained by faculty capacity. Today, a professor can teach no more than 200 students per semester. With AI automation, that limit vaporises.”
The framework promises to reduce costs by up to 50%, ease institutional pressures, and make learning more interactive and inquiry-led. With plans to integrate over 1,100 universities and impact 40 million students under AICTE, this initiative marks the beginning of one of the largest AI-driven education transformations in India’s history.
