In a move set to redefine Australia’s cybersecurity landscape, Cybertify, one of the country’s fastest-growing sovereign cybersecurity firms, has appointed Arni Hardarson, a highly respected industry veteran, as Head of Offensive Security.

With more than two decades of experience spanning technical expertise and strategic leadership, Hardarson’s appointment strengthens Cybertify’s focus on offensive security, governance, risk and compliance (GRC), and virtual CISO services. Known for assembling an elite “cyber squad” of Australia’s most accomplished security professionals, Cybertify continues to attract top-tier talent from leading consultancies and high-security environments.

Before joining Cybertify, Hardarson led Thales Cyber and Digital (formerly Tesserent) as Head of Assurance, overseeing complex penetration testing, red-team operations, and security advisory programs across government and enterprise sectors. His career also includes leadership roles at Pure Hacking, Pure Security, and Tesserent, where he helped shape Australia’s national offensive security ecosystem.
