CIO500 & Accelerator X Awards 2025: A 10-City Celebration of Trust, Technology, and Transformation

Chennai

A Movement, Not Just an Event

As Sanjay Mohapatra, Group Editor, Accent Info Media – India and MEA, aptly remarked, “CIO500 is not just an event, it is a movement of collaboration, where ideas meet execution.” This sentiment encapsulates the very spirit of the CIO500 & Accelerator X Awards 2025 – a three-month odyssey across ten vibrant Indian cities that celebrated innovation, leadership, and the transformative role of technology in shaping enterprises of tomorrow.

From 18th July to 19th September 2025, the journey connected more than 1200 CIOs and ICT leaders, engaged over 100 visionary speakers, and culminated in the recognition of 500 distinguished achievers across categories spanning visionary CIO leadership, AI, security, data, and operational excellence.

At its heart, CIO500 was not about presentations alone—it was about conversations, networking, and the collective exchange of wisdom among India’s top technology leaders.

Diversity of Thought, Unity of Vision

Every city brought with it a unique flavor. Sanjib Mohapatra, Publisher, Accent Info Media – India and MEA, noted this beautifully: “The power of this journey lies in the diversity of leaders we brought together—each city added a new flavor to the conversation.”

From Chennai’s deep discussions on cloud security to Hyderabad’s emphasis on digital resilience, from Kolkata’s insights into AI to Ahmedabad’s security-first mindset, the CIO500 platform resonated with the breadth of India’s technology leadership.

N.K. Mehta, CEO & MD of SNS, observed, “The CIO500 platform is where trust, technology, and transformation converge.” His words rang true at every stop, where conversations bridged the gap between boardroom strategies and on-ground execution.
