Ex-Amazon and Salesforce leader to accelerate AI-first innovation and SaaS transformation for global HR tech provider
“UKG is on a remarkable trajectory, with the AI-first strategy and workforce insights to reshape work for organizations worldwide,” said Jim Joudrey, newly appointed CTO of UKG.
UKG, a global leader in HR, payroll, and workforce management solutions, has named Jim Joudrey as its new Chief Technology Officer. In this role, he will oversee the company’s global engineering and cloud organization of more than 4,000 people and report directly to CEO Jennifer Morgan.
Joudrey brings more than two decades of technology leadership experience, having scaled engineering organizations at Amazon and Salesforce. Most recently, he was Vice President of Digital Acceleration at Amazon, where he led digital commerce across 40+ businesses including Prime, Prime Video, Audible, Music, and Devices. Earlier, he served as SVP of Analytics Cloud Engineering at Salesforce, driving Tableau’s migration to the cloud. He also spent a decade at Amazon in leadership roles across financial systems, marketplace services, supply chain, and AWS Infrastructure.
“Jim is a transformational technology leader with a track record of turning bold ideas into products that deliver results,” said Jennifer Morgan, CEO of UKG. “He joins us at a perfect time to accelerate innovation and create even greater opportunities for customers to better understand their workforce and orchestrate how work gets done.”
As CTO, Joudrey will lead UKG’s technology vision, advancing its AI-first platform to help organizations make smarter workforce decisions. Today, more than 80,000 organizations in 150 countries — including two-thirds of the Fortune 1000 — rely on UKG solutions to optimize workforce operations.
Joudrey succeeds Sri Srinivasan, who has served as interim CTO since 2023.
