One of India’s largest AI hubs to focus on talent development, applied research and responsible AI adoption across the state
Tiger Analytics has signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Bihar to establish a Mega Artificial Intelligence Centre of Excellence (AI CoE), one of the largest AI ecosystem hubs in India. The agreement was formalised at the India AI Impact Summit 2026, organised by MeitY, marking a major milestone in Bihar’s push to emerge as a national leader in AI‑driven innovation and talent development.
The upcoming AI CoE will serve as a statewide hub for AI research, infrastructure, skilling and deployment, co‑created in partnership with IIT Patna and a consortium of industry and academic stakeholders. Designed as a self‑sustaining AI ecosystem, the Centre will focus on large‑scale upskilling, applied research aligned with Bihar’s development priorities, and responsible AI adoption across government departments, universities and enterprises.

As the designated Industry Partner, Tiger Analytics will lead the development and delivery of AI capability programmes for students, professionals and government officials. The company will also contribute its global expertise to design scalable AI solutions for public institutions and governance, alongside supporting innovation projects across sectors such as agriculture, public health, citizen services, infrastructure planning and education.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Dr. Mahesh Kumar, Founder & CEO, Tiger Analytics, said the partnership marks a pivotal moment for the state. “This collaboration is about building deep capability not just experimentation. Bihar’s Hon’ble Minister of Information Technology, Ms. Shreyasi Singh, said the Centre reinforces the state’s ambition to lead India’s AI transformation. “The Bihar AI Mission ensures that the benefits of AI reach every corner of our state. With partners like Tiger Analytics, we are creating an ecosystem that drives AI upskilling at scale and generates tangible impact across governance and industry,” she said.
Tiger Analytics also showcased applied AI use cases at the Bihar Pavilion during the India AI Impact Expo, demonstrating how AI can be deployed at scale across public systems.
