Razorpay Launches World’s First AI‑Native Agent Studio for Payments at FTX’26

Razorpay

Razorpay today announced a major leap forward in AI‑driven financial operations with the launch of the Razorpay Agent Studio, unveiled at the company’s flagship event, FTX’26. Touted as the world’s first AI‑native agent studio for payments, the platform is powered by Anthropic’s Claude and designed to redefine how businesses manage the operational backbone of their payment ecosystems.

The Agent Studio introduces a full suite of purpose‑built AI agents capable of handling tasks that until now depended on manual intervention or fragmented tools. Businesses can deploy these agents to recover failed subscriptions, convert abandoned carts, resolve disputes, predict cashflow trends, or build customised payment agents all without writing any code.

“With Agent Studio, we’re transforming how businesses automate payment operations making AI agents practical, powerful, and accessible to every merchant.”

Industry experts say the platform marks a pivotal moment in the evolution of “agentic” financial systems, where autonomous AI agents increasingly handle complex operational workflows.

Alongside the Agent Studio, Razorpay unveiled the Agentic Experience Platform, an AI-driven conversational interface designed to simplify merchant interactions across the payment lifecycle. This includes onboarding, product integration, troubleshooting, support queries, and day‑to‑day payment operations, significantly reducing friction for merchants navigating payment infrastructure.

According to Razorpay, the goal is to offer businesses ranging from digital‑first ventures to large enterprises a unified layer of intelligent automation that enhances efficiency while reducing operational overhead. The platform’s zero‑code approach positions it as an accessible solution even for teams without technical expertise.

“Claude’s advanced reasoning powers the next generation of AI-native financial workflows. This partnership enables safer, smarter agentic automation at scale.”

Razorpay’s leadership emphasised that the launch aligns with a broader industry shift toward AI‑centric financial workflows. As businesses handle higher transaction volumes and increasingly complex customer journeys, the ability to automate repetitive processes and surface actionable insights becomes crucial.

Anthropic’s Claude plays a pivotal role in powering these intelligent agents, enabling them to reason, adapt, and respond within payment‑specific contexts while prioritising safety and reliability.

With Agent Studio and the Agentic Experience Platform, Razorpay has set the stage for a new era in payment automation one where AI agents manage operational complexity, freeing organisations to focus on growth and innovation.
