Qlik Delivers Secure, Open Access to Trusted Data in Any Tool

Qlik

New Qlik Talend Cloud capabilities simplify data sharing, documentation, and quality management

Qlik has introduced powerful new features in Qlik Talend Cloud designed to make trusted data accessible and actionable across the enterprise. The enhancements enable data teams to publish secure, standards-based API endpoints for governed data products with a single click, auto-document fields at scale, and leverage AI to propose data-quality rules.

The update addresses key challenges for modern data teams:

  • Publish faster: Share governed data through open APIs for use in Power BI, Tableau, Excel, Salesforce, and internal apps.
  • Document at scale: Automatically describe dataset fields to improve discoverability and reduce manual effort.
  • Raise quality quickly: Deploy AI-assisted data quality rules based on data profiles, covering more checks with less effort.
  • Collaborate effectively: Use sprint-style remediation and validation workflows to resolve issues with domain experts.

“Customers want flexibility. If your best data is stuck in one tool, it becomes a bottleneck. Open, standards-based APIs let customers use the same governed data wherever work happens. AI-driven stewardship removes repetitive tasks and helps teams deliver trusted outcomes faster.”

Drew Clarke, EVP, Product & Technology, Qlik

Industry leaders are already seeing impact. “Qlik has turned stewardship into a team sport,” said Eva Chrona, CEO at Climber. “Sprint workflows and collaborative validation pulled our domain experts into the process, which raised trust and sped up fixes. The automation that documents fields and proposes quality checks is already saving time.”

These capabilities come as organizations seek greater flexibility in how they consume and govern data. Data Product APIs built on open standards are available now, while auto-describe fields and the DQ Rule Assistant are rolling out. Qlik has also opened early access for its Data Stewardship program, inviting teams to explore collaborative governance powered by AI.

With these innovations, Qlik reinforces its mission to simplify data integration and governance, enabling businesses to unlock insights faster and drive strategic outcomes.
