Following Nuclia acquisition, Progress delivers no-code, affordable RAG-as-a-Service to empower businesses of all sizes with verifiable AI search and insights
Progress Software (Nasdaq: PRGS), the trusted provider of AI-powered digital experience and infrastructure software, has unveiled Progress® Agentic RAG, a SaaS Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) platform designed to make trustworthy and verifiable generative AI accessible for organisations of all sizes.
The new platform addresses a critical barrier in AI adoption: traditional RAG offerings often require significant resources and expertise to deploy. Progress Agentic RAG changes this by offering a simple, intuitive and affordable solution that enables businesses — from small enterprises to global corporations — to harness generative AI with context and reliability.
“As organisations across APJ accelerate their digital transformation, the need for trustworthy, context-driven AI is also increasing. The launch of Progress Agentic RAG marks a pivotal moment, bringing advanced generative AI within reach for any organisation.”
— John Yang, Vice President, APJ, Progress Software
The launch follows Progress’ acquisition of Nuclia in July 2025, expanding its AI portfolio with the easiest-to-use RAG-as-a-Service platform on the market. Powered by intelligent AI agents, Agentic RAG can ingest, retrieve and reason across multiple content formats including documents, video, and audio, ensuring transparent and accurate outputs.
“Progress Agentic RAG is redefining how businesses interact with their data,” said Yogesh Gupta, CEO of Progress Software. “By combining agentic intelligence with retrieval-augmented generation, we’re making AI practical, scalable and trustworthy for every organisation. This platform unlocks the power of unstructured data across formats and languages through verifiable, no-code AI search.”
The platform is already being deployed across industries. Companies are using it to accelerate sales cycles with AI-driven recommendations, power customer support with high-quality responses, enable legal teams with precise semantic research, and streamline onboarding by preserving institutional knowledge.
Key features include a no-code RAG pipeline, intelligent multi-modal search, seamless AI agent integration, and NucliaDB-powered storage with semantic and knowledge graph capabilities. Built-in RAG Evaluation Metrics (REMi) further ensure traceability and consistent answer quality.
Analysts see this as a turning point. “Cost-effective solutions like Progress Agentic RAG that are built for easier deployment can help businesses unlock productivity and innovation—regardless of their size,” said Amy Machado, Senior Research Manager at IDC.
The platform is available now via AWS Marketplace and Progress.com, starting at US$700/month, bringing enterprise-grade AI within reach for small businesses and departmental teams.
