Panasonic Smart Factory Solutions India (PSFSIN), a division of Panasonic Life Solutions India (PLSIND), highlighted the future of autonomous manufacturing at Productronica India 2026, unveiling advanced, software‑driven factory solutions designed to reduce skill dependency while boosting productivity and operational efficiency.
Showcased under the theme “Autonomous Factory – Skill‑less Operations,” Panasonic demonstrated its end‑to‑end Surface Mount Technology (SMT) ecosystem, offering visitors a complete view of next‑generation electronics manufacturing. The display featured Panasonic’s latest modular placement platforms NPM‑GP/L, NPM‑GH and NPM‑TT2 integrated with Koh Young AOI and SPI systems, TSM reflow ovens, and advanced nozzle cleaning and inspection solutions. The live demonstration is being held at Booth H01, Hall 15, IEML, Greater Noida.
With deep expertise across automotive, consumer electronics, telecom, industrial electronics, EMS and semiconductor manufacturing, PSFSIN is positioning its autonomous factory solutions as an enabler for OEMs seeking scalable, high‑precision production in a globally competitive environment.
“India is emerging as a critical hub in the global manufacturing landscape, and Panasonic is proud to support this transformation,” said Mr. Osamu Shimada, Deputy Managing Director, PSFSIN, PLSIND. “Our SMT platforms, including the NPM‑GP/L, NPM‑GH and NPM‑TT2, are engineered to deliver high precision, flexibility and faster returns on investment. The market response reinforces our commitment to enabling cost‑efficient, future‑ready manufacturing aligned with evolving customer needs.”
Panasonic’s technology roadmap emphasizes intelligent, connected shopfloors powered by software and data. Mr. Vishal Dahiya, Director – Factory Automation System, PSFSIN, noted that autonomous manufacturing is no longer optional.
“By integrating platforms like PanaCIM with IoT‑enabled solutions, we are helping manufacturers transition to data‑driven, autonomous operations,” Dahiya said. “This reduces skill dependency, improves consistency, enables faster changeovers and supports predictive decision‑making, ultimately driving operational excellence.”
Among the highlights, the NPM‑GP/L printer offers high‑speed, high‑accuracy printing with a 12‑second cycle time, while the NPM‑GH mounter delivers 55,500 CPH with dual‑lane handling for high‑volume production. The NPM‑TT2 addresses high‑mix manufacturing with superior accuracy and flexibility.
Complementing the hardware, Panasonic also showcased its Operations & Maintenance services, PanaCIM MES suite and MirAIe ProFactory IoT solutions, reinforcing its vision of fully connected, autonomous factories built for the future.
