Oracle Launches New Agentic AI Database Innovations and Unveils Fusion Agentic Applications for Next-Gen Enterprise Automation

Oracle

Oracle today announced major advancements across its AI portfolio, unveiling new agentic AI capabilities for Oracle AI Database alongside the launch of Fusion Agentic Applications a new class of enterprise systems powered by teams of coordinated, reasoning‑based AI agents.

The updated Oracle AI Database is designed to help organisations rapidly build and deploy secure agentic AI applications without moving data or adding integration complexity. By architecting AI directly into operational databases and analytic lakehouses, Oracle enables AI agents to securely access real-time business data across multicloud, hybrid, and on‑premises environments.

“With Oracle AI Database, customers don’t just store data they activate it for AI with enterprise‑grade security and scale.”

— Juan Loaiza, EVP, Oracle Database Technologies

Juan Loaiza, executive vice president of Oracle Database Technologies, said the next phase of enterprise AI will be defined by production‑grade systems that can safely act on live business data. “By architecting AI and data together, we help customers quickly build and manage agentic AI applications that can securely query and act on real‑enterprise data with stock‑exchange‑level robustness,” he said.

Key innovations include Oracle Autonomous AI Vector Database for simplified vector development; the AI Database Private Agent Factory for no‑code, containerised AI agent creation; and Oracle Unified Memory Core, which enables agents to maintain context across relational, vector, JSON, graph, and spatial data in a single engine. New security layers including Deep Data Security and Oracle Private AI Services Container — help defend organisations from emerging AI-era threats such as prompt injection and unauthorised data exposure.

“Fusion Agentic Applications move enterprise software from passive recordkeeping to intelligent, outcome‑driven execution.”

— Steve Miranda, EVP, Applications Development, Oracle

Alongside the database upgrades, Oracle introduced Fusion Agentic Applications, embedded directly into Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications. These outcome‑driven systems use specialised AI agents to analyse, decide, and execute business processes in real time across finance, HR, supply chain, and customer experience.

Steve Miranda, EVP of Applications Development, said the shift is transformative. “With Fusion Agentic Applications, we are providing customers with applications that can reason, decide, and act in pursuit of defined business objectives. This is a huge step forward for the industry.”

Oracle has released 22 new agentic applications, spanning workforce operations, supply chain sourcing, revenue growth, and cash collection each designed to reduce manual work, accelerate decisions, and improve business outcomes.
