Veteran engineering leader to drive innovation, talent, and next‑generation capabilities across GoTo’s Bengaluru hub
GoTo, a global leader in cloud communications and IT solutions, has announced the promotion of Sivakumar Ekambaram as the company’s new India Site Leader, further solidifying India’s strategic importance within GoTo’s global operations. In his expanded role, Sivakumar will oversee India’s operations, talent strategy, and innovation agenda, steering one of GoTo’s most critical global hubs.
With more than 20 years of experience in the IT industry, Sivakumar has spent nearly a decade contributing to GoTo’s product and engineering success. A seasoned product engineering leader, he will continue in his capacity as Senior Director of Engineering, bringing deep expertise across unified communications, remote support, cloud platforms, and AI-driven product innovation.

Sivakumar’s career spans global and Indian technology giants including IBM, Aztec Software, AOL, and Citrix, giving him broad experience in scaling engineering teams and leading complex technology programs.
