FPT Joins Asia’s Top 40 IT Services Firms in Gartner 2024 Rankings

Vietnamese tech giant climbs 18 spots globally as AI and DX drive international revenue surge

FPT Corporation, Vietnam’s leading technology and IT services firm, has been ranked among Asia’s top 40 and the world’s top 140 IT services providers by revenue, according to the Gartner® Market Share: Services, Worldwide, 2024 report.

FPT generated more than USD 1.4 billion in revenue from its technology sector last year, advancing six positions to reach 40th in Asia and climbing 18 places globally to 139th. The corporation’s total revenue hit USD 2.47 billion in 2024, with nearly two-thirds coming from its technology segment.

Fuelled by booming demand for digital transformation and AI services, FPT’s IT services for global markets surged 27.4% year-on-year, contributing over 79% to its tech revenue and 91% to pre-tax profit. The Japanese market led the charge, crossing the USD 500 million revenue mark, followed by strong growth across Asia-Pacific and major wins in the US, Germany, and Singapore.

“In 2024, we made AI our strategic cornerstone, with bold ambitions to develop one million AI Agents and scale our capabilities across five key areas: AI, Digital Transformation, Semiconductors, Automotive, and Green Transformation,” said Dr Truong Gia Binh, FPT Chairman.

In Q1 2025 alone, FPT secured nine mega-deals worth over USD 10 million each and reported a 13.9% revenue jump. With eyes set on USD 5 billion in global IT services revenue by 2030, the company aims to be a defining player in the next wave of enterprise tech.
