Made-in-India PCS to Power BSPGCL & Adani Electricity Mumbai’s Clean Energy Transition
Delta Electronics India, a leader in power management and smart green solutions, has announced a major agreement to supply 100 units of its locally manufactured 1.1 MW bi-directional Power Conditioning Systems (PCS), totaling 110 MW, to Prostarm Info Systems Ltd. These systems will support multiple Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects across India, including initiatives by Bihar State Power Generation Company Ltd (BSPGCL) and Adani Electricity Mumbai Limited (AEML).
This collaboration marks the largest deployment of Delta’s Make-in-India PCS technology to date, reinforcing India’s renewable integration, grid stability, and energy resilience. The PCS units will be installed across projects such as AEML’s 11 MW/22 MWh BESS in Mumbai and standalone BESS projects in Bihar under the BESSPD model.

Delta’s PCS solutions, manufactured at its Krishnagiri facility in Tamil Nadu, are designed for utility-grade energy storage and microgrid applications, offering peak shaving, PV smoothing, and grid ancillary control. With up to 98.5% energy conversion efficiency, 1160 kVA output capacity, and scalability up to five units in parallel, these systems deliver unmatched performance for India’s clean energy ambitions.
