Compact in-room connectivity solution targets hospitality, education, enterprise, and multi-dwelling environments

D-Link has introduced the DAP-X3060W AX3000 Wi-Fi 6 Wall-Plate Access Point, a compact, PoE-powered in-room wireless solution designed for hotels, campuses, offices, and multi-dwelling units. The wall-mounted AP fits standard junction boxes and provides high-speed Wi-Fi 6 coverage along with multiple Gigabit LAN ports for wired devices such as smart TVs, IP phones, and PCs.

Powered by dual-band AX3000 throughput, OFDMA, and MU-MIMO, the device delivers smoother streaming, lower latency, and consistent performance in dense environments. Integrated with D-Link’s MIT-grade engineering and WPA3-enabled security, the DAP-X3060W is positioned as a scalable foundation for next-generation smart spaces.

When paired with the D-Link Nuclias Network Controller, organizations can centrally deploy, manage, and optimize networks across large properties, reinforcing D-Link’s commitment to intelligent, software-defined connectivity.

“As industries evolve toward hybrid workplaces and smart environments, in-room connectivity must become faster, more secure, and easier to manage,” a D-Link spokesperson said. “The DAP-X3060W addresses this need with a compact form factor, robust Wi-Fi 6 performance, and centralized cloud management through Nuclias.”

Designed for Diverse Environments

Hospitality:
Tailored for guest rooms and suites, the AP delivers high-speed coverage without visible hardware clutter. Multiple LAN ports support in-room devices, while VLAN segmentation ensures guest privacy.

Education:
Ideal for classrooms, lecture halls, and dormitories, it supports large volumes of student devices. PoE installation accelerates campus-wide rollouts, and centralized management simplifies IT operations.

Enterprises:
For offices and meeting rooms, the AP provides room-specific performance, reduced visual footprint, and scalable network control through Nuclias.

Multi-Dwelling Units:
Ensures stable, interference-free connectivity across apartments. VLAN and WPA3 enable private, secure access for each tenant.

D-Link emphasizes that its engineering excellence provides a flexible, future-ready foundation for secure and sustainable networks—aligned with its brand promise, “One Connection • Infinite Possibilities.”
