Coforge has announced that it has signed definitive agreements to acquire Encora, an AI-native engineering services firm headquartered in Silicon Valley, in a move that significantly strengthens its capabilities across AI-driven product engineering, Cloud, and Data services. The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals.
Founded with an AI-native DNA, Encora operates at the intersection of artificial intelligence, cloud, and data engineering. The company brings deep expertise in intelligent process design, agent-native product engineering, core modernization, AI foundations, data readiness, and AIOps. A key differentiator is Encora’s composable agentic AI platform, AIVA™, along with strong partnerships with hyperscalers including AWS, Microsoft, Google, and Snowflake.
“AI-led engineering will define the next era of enterprise transformation.”
— Sudhir Singh, CEO & Executive Director, Coforge
The acquisition positions Coforge as a scaled US$2.5 billion technology services firm, with AI-led engineering, data, and cloud services expected to form a US$2 billion enterprise core in the near term. AI-led product engineering is projected to become a US$1.25 billion-plus business, supported by cloud services of around US$500 million and data engineering of more than US$250 million.
The deal also strengthens Coforge’s presence in high-growth verticals such as Hi-Tech and Healthcare, both of which are expected to immediately operate at an annualised run rate of over US$170 million each. In addition, the acquisition enhances Coforge’s near-shore delivery capabilities in LATAM, adding a strong engineering and AI talent base of more than 3,100 specialists serving US clients, while expanding its footprint across the West and Mid-West United States.
Sudhir Singh, Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of Coforge, said the acquisition marks a defining moment for the company, creating a strong moat in AI-led engineering underpinned by data and cloud foundations purpose-built for enterprise AI. He added that Coforge’s consistent execution excellence and track record of successful acquisitions position it well to accelerate growth and set new benchmarks in delivering real-world AI outcomes for enterprises.
Encora’s investors, including Advent, highlighted the combination as a natural next step in building one of the most admired AI-led engineering companies globally, with Coforge providing the right platform for the next phase of scale and impact.
With this acquisition, Coforge reinforces its intent to emerge as a leading AI-driven engineering firm for the new era of digital transformation.
