Leadership elevation strengthens technology, AI, and platform scalability as the recommerce leader targets 30–35% growth
Cashify, India’s leading re-commerce platform, has appointed Raghvendra Singh as Chief Technology Officer (CTO), effective January 1, 2026. The move comes as the company prepares for an ambitious growth phase, with plans to achieve 30–35 percent expansion, broaden into new non-smartphone categories, and scale its offline presence to over 300 stores across India.
Singh’s elevation underscores Cashify’s strategy of placing technology at the core of its business as it scales operations across categories and geographies. A long-standing member of the leadership team, Singh has been with Cashify for over a decade and previously served as Head of Engineering, in addition to holding senior roles such as Vice President and Senior Vice President of Engineering.
In his new role, Singh will lead Cashify’s overall technology vision and execution, covering platform architecture, engineering, infrastructure, data, and security. His mandate includes strengthening the company’s proprietary systems that enable device pricing, diagnostics, verification, and large-scale reuse, while ensuring high levels of reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency.
“Technology will be the backbone of how we scale trust, efficiency, and sustainability across the device lifecycle as Cashify enters its next phase of growth,”
Mandeep Manocha, Co-founder & CEO, Cashify.
“As Cashify continues to expand its recommerce footprint across India, Raghvendra’s leadership will be central to shaping a robust and future-ready technology foundation,” said Manocha. He added that Singh has played a pivotal role in building the platforms and data-driven systems that power Cashify’s end-to-end device lifecycle, from acquisition to resale and recycling.
The appointment comes at a time when Cashify is accelerating investments in technology to support new product categories beyond smartphones, increased transaction volumes, and a rapidly growing offline retail network. The company is also focusing on deeper integration of AI and data intelligence to improve pricing accuracy, fraud prevention, customer experience, and operational decision-making.
Speaking on his appointment, Singh said his priority would be to build resilient, secure, and scalable platforms aligned with Cashify’s long-term vision in the circular economy. He highlighted plans to embed AI more deeply into core systems, strengthen infrastructure and security, and enable faster execution across teams.
Founded in 2013, Cashify operates India’s largest re-commerce platform for buying, selling, and repairing used electronic devices, serving millions of users through its digital platforms and a rapidly expanding nationwide store network.
