Three-year Acronis True Image Essentials license now bundled with all Bee Series devices, enabling seamless, secure personal data protection

Acronis has announced a strategic collaboration with Synology that integrates a three-year license of Acronis True Image Essentials with all Synology BeeDrive, BeeStation, and BeeStation Plus devices. The partnership is designed to enhance personal and small-office data security by merging Synology’s consumer-friendly storage technology with Acronis’ trusted full-system backup and cybersecurity capabilities.

Synology’s Bee Series—popular for simple, high-speed personal backup and AI-powered file management—now extends its value proposition by offering comprehensive protection beyond files. With Acronis True Image Essentials, users can perform full-system backups, including the operating system, applications, and settings, while retaining complete ownership of their data through local storage.

“By combining Synology’s intuitive Bee Series with the proven protection of Acronis True Image, we’re giving users an effortless and secure way to safeguard their entire digital environment,” said Gabriela Licheva, True Image Lead Product Manager, Acronis.

Sabrina Chen, Director of Digital Life Group at Synology, highlighted that the collaboration aligns perfectly with the Bee Series vision: simplifying backup for general users while ensuring enterprise-grade reliability. Acronis adds advanced layers of protection, including AI-driven ransomware detection, secure disk cloning, and fast recovery tools trusted by millions of users globally.

BeeDrive and BeeStation already include smart features such as on-device AI file discovery, personal cloud collaboration, and intelligent photo organization. The addition of Acronis’ multi-layered cyber protection strengthens their positioning as unified home and small-office data hubs.

The bundled True Image Essentials license is valid for one computer per device and must be redeemed within 90 days of initial Synology Account activation. Availability varies by region.

The partnership underscores growing industry alignment around user-friendly, integrated data protection—particularly as consumers increasingly manage large volumes of personal and work data across devices.
