Acronis Launches 24/7 MDR Service to Strengthen MSP Cyber Resilience

Acronis

New offering integrates threat detection, response, and recovery to simplify security operations

Acronis has announced the global launch of Acronis MDR by Acronis TRU, a 24/7 managed detection and response (MDR) service designed to help managed service providers (MSPs) deliver advanced cybersecurity without the need for in-house security operations centers.

Built on the expertise of the Acronis Threat Research Unit (TRU), the service combines continuous monitoring, rapid threat detection, and incident response with integrated cyber resilience capabilities. It is aimed at enabling MSPs of all sizes to expand their security offerings while reducing operational complexity and costs.

As cyber threats continue to grow in sophistication and frequency, many MSPs face challenges in delivering enterprise-grade security due to limited resources and expertise. Acronis MDR addresses this gap by offering a fully integrated platform that combines endpoint detection and response (EDR) with proactive protection measures such as patch management and business continuity features.

“Acronis MDR by Acronis TRU was built to make advanced detection and response accessible globally to MSPs of any size.”

— Gaidar Magdanurov, President, Acronis

Unlike traditional MDR solutions that rely on multiple disconnected tools, Acronis MDR delivers a unified approach to detection, remediation, and recovery. This integration enables faster response times—reportedly remediating critical incidents in as little as 15 minutes—while simplifying security management for service providers.

The solution also emphasizes accessibility and scalability, with flexible pricing models and streamlined onboarding designed to support MSPs in rapidly deploying the service across customer environments.

Acronis is further extending its MDR ecosystem through partnerships with managed security service providers (MSSPs), enabling localized delivery and compliance support across regions including Europe, Asia-Pacific, and North America. These partnerships allow MSPs to tailor services to regional requirements while maintaining consistent security standards.

With this launch, Acronis reinforces its strategy of delivering integrated cyber protection solutions that combine cybersecurity, data protection, and infrastructure management helping organizations enhance resilience and maintain business continuity in an increasingly complex threat landscape.
