New offering combines detection, response, and recovery to simplify cybersecurity operations

Acronis has announced the global launch of Acronis MDR by Acronis TRU, a 24/7/365 managed detection and response (MDR) service designed to help managed service providers (MSPs) deliver enterprise-grade cybersecurity without the need for complex, in-house security operations.

Built on the expertise of the Acronis Threat Research Unit (TRU), the service delivers continuous monitoring, rapid threat detection, and expert-led incident response. It enables MSPs to enhance their security offerings while reducing operational overhead and cost barriers typically associated with running a full-scale SOC.

“Acronis MDR by Acronis TRU was built to make advanced detection and response accessible globally to MSPs of any size.”

— Gaidar Magdanurov, President, Acronis

As cyber threats continue to evolve in scale and sophistication, many MSPs face challenges in delivering advanced protection due to limited resources and expertise. Acronis MDR addresses this gap through an integrated platform that combines endpoint detection and response (EDR) with proactive protection capabilities such as patch management and built-in business continuity.

Unlike traditional MDR solutions that rely on multiple tools, the Acronis offering provides a unified approach to detection, remediation, and recovery. This integration allows for faster response times, with critical incidents reportedly contained in as little as 15 minutes, while simplifying security management across customer environments.

The service is also designed for accessibility and scalability, featuring flexible pricing and streamlined onboarding, enabling MSPs of all sizes to adopt and expand cybersecurity services with ease.

Acronis is further extending its MDR ecosystem through partnerships with managed security service providers (MSSPs), allowing localized delivery and compliance support across regions including Europe, Asia-Pacific, and North America. These partnerships ensure that MSPs can deliver tailored, region-specific security services while maintaining global standards.

With this launch, Acronis continues to strengthen its integrated cyber protection strategy bringing together cybersecurity, data protection, and infrastructure management to help organizations build resilience and ensure business continuity in an increasingly complex threat landscape.
