Infopercept Unveils Regiment AI as Cybersecurity Shifts Toward Autonomous, Policy-Governed Operations

Jaydeep Ruparelia

Infopercept has entered the growing market for AI-driven cybersecurity with the launch of Regiment AI, an AI-native architecture designed to bring controlled autonomy to offensive security, threat defense and compliance operations.

The announcement reflects a broader evolution in cybersecurity, where organizations are looking beyond isolated AI copilots toward agent-based systems capable of automating security workflows while operating within clearly defined policies, permissions and governance frameworks.

At the core of Regiment AI are seven specialized AI agents spanning offensive security, defensive operations, compliance management and remediation. Rather than replacing existing security investments, the platform is designed to work alongside enterprise tools such as SIEM, EDR, SOAR, IAM, CMDB and threat intelligence platforms, creating a unified security operating layer.

“Cybersecurity is moving from SaaS to SAS: Service as Software. The future lies in combining AI agents with human expertise, governance and accountability to deliver security outcomes at machine speed.”

The approach highlights a growing industry trend. As cyber threats become faster and more sophisticated, security teams are increasingly exploring AI agents that can continuously discover vulnerabilities, investigate incidents, validate attack paths, collect compliance evidence and prioritize remediation actions with minimal human intervention. However, enterprise adoption remains constrained by concerns around accountability, governance and auditability.

Infopercept is positioning Regiment AI as a solution to that challenge by embedding policy controls, approval workflows and audit trails directly into the architecture. The platform’s agents work across a continuous security lifecycle of discover, investigate, validate, govern and remediate, while maintaining records of decisions and actions for regulatory oversight.

The launch also signals India’s growing ambition in cybersecurity innovation. By combining AI-powered automation with human-controlled governance, Infopercept is betting that the next generation of security operations will depend not only on intelligent agents but also on the controls that keep them accountable.
