FPT Corporation has announced an expansion of its long-standing partnership with Microsoft, aimed at accelerating enterprise-scale AI adoption and co-innovation across Asia, with a particular focus on ASEAN, Japan, and South Korea.
The strengthened collaboration brings together Microsoft’s global AI platforms with FPT’s large-scale delivery capabilities, enabling organizations to transition from AI experimentation to real-world, production-grade deployment. The initiative aligns with FPT’s “AI First” strategy and Microsoft’s vision of human–agent collaboration, where AI agents are embedded into core enterprise workflows.
A key aspect of the partnership positions FPT as an “AI Frontier Company,” a category defined by organizations that integrate AI agents across operations while maintaining human-led oversight. As part of this role, FPT will collaborate closely with Microsoft on early access to next-generation AI technologies, joint innovation initiatives, and the development of scalable reference architectures.
FPT is also expanding its internal AI transformation, leveraging tools such as Microsoft 365 Copilot and GitHub Copilot. The company plans to equip up to 20,000 developers with agentic AI capabilities over the next three years, supporting the development of an AI-augmented workforce.
The partnership introduces a structured Pathfinder approach to drive joint go-to-market initiatives, combining technical expertise, investment, and regional execution strategies. This is designed to help enterprises scale AI adoption in a consistent and repeatable manner across industries.
In addition, both companies will support national AI ambitions particularly in Vietnam through policy-aligned frameworks, capability-building programs, and ecosystem collaboration.
With nearly three decades of partnership and deep expertise across the Microsoft ecosystem, FPT aims to position itself as a reference model for enterprise AI transformation, helping organizations build scalable, secure, and AI-native operations across the region.
