Accenture and Databricks have expanded their long-standing partnership to help global enterprises modernize their data foundations and scale AI applications and agentic systems across the business. As part of this strategic collaboration, the companies announced the new Accenture Databricks Business Group, backed by more than 25,000 Databricks‑trained professionals the largest certified Databricks talent pool in the ecosystem.
The joint initiative aims to help organizations adopt Databricks as their core data and AI platform, leveraging the company’s newest innovations including Lakebase, a serverless Postgres database optimized for AI workloads; Genie, Databricks’ conversational data assistant; and Agent Bricks, which enables enterprises to build high‑quality AI agents grounded in their governed data.
“Business impact not experimentation is now the only true measure of AI success.”
— Ali Ghodsi, CEO & Co‑Founder, Databricks
“With Databricks, we’re helping clients modernize their data foundation so they can build, scale and govern AI applications and agents with confidence,” said Julie Sweet, Chair and CEO of Accenture. “Our combined strengths accelerate the shift from experimentation to production, enabling enterprises to deploy AI safely and deliver measurable business outcomes.”
Databricks CEO Ali Ghodsi underscored the urgency of enterprise‑grade AI adoption: “AI has reached a point where business impact is the only metric that matters. More enterprises are using Lakebase and Genie to scale agentic systems across their workforce. Our collaboration with Accenture helps organizations deploy AI securely and responsibly to achieve the outcomes they value most.”
