Veteran Cybersecurity Expert to Lead Sinch’s Global Tech Strategy and Operations
Sinch, a global leader in cloud communications, has announced the appointment of Vishal Singh as its new Head of Technology & Operations for India. Singh, a seasoned technology and cybersecurity expert, brings nearly three decades of experience in IT, security, and digital transformation to his new role.
In his new role at Sinch, Singh will oversee Technology and operations, focusing on enhancing system performance, streamlining operational processes, and supporting the company’s expanding global infrastructure. As a strategic leader, he will be responsible for overseeing all IT operations, infrastructure, platform applications, and data management. His mandate includes ensuring that technology aligns with business objectives to drive efficiency, security, and scalability.
Singh’s key areas of focus will include strategic IT leadership, SAAS platform operations, executive leadership, security architecture, incident response, security awareness and training, vendor risk management, IT governance and risk management, and excellence in technical operations. His role will be pivotal in advancing data protection, compliance, and operational excellence, enabling sustainable growth and technological advancement across Sinch.
Singh has played various roles in various organization including his most recent position as CISO at Coforge, where he significantly enhanced the company’s cybersecurity posture. Before his tenure at Coforge, Singh held several key executive leadership roles, including Vice President – IT & Security at RxLogix Corporation, Chief Technology Officer at GIS Consulting, and CIO & CISO at ELI Research India Pvt. Ltd. He also spent over a decade as Director – IT & CISO at AGNITY and began his career as a Senior Engineer at CMC Ltd.
