Gartner recognizes NetApp as Customers’ Choice for Solid-State Arrays

NetApp has been named a 2018 Gartner Peer Insights Customers’ Choice for Solid-State Arrays. Gartner defines Solid-State Arrays as highly automated, guaranteed low latency solid-state storage arrays compared to older larger and slower electromechanical storage array offerings which use hard-disk drives (HDDs).

This latest recognition for NetApp, which is based on reviews from NetApp’s customers, follows its inclusion by Gartner analysts as a Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Solid-State Arrays for the third consecutive year. NetApp offers a full range of data products and services for companies to modernize their IT architecture with cloud-connected flash, helping them succeed with resource-intensive Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications and other complex data use-cases.

“We believe being named a Gartner Peer Insights Customers’ Choice reflects our status as the fastest-growing vendor in flash and the overall evolution of our cloud-connected flash storage capabilities,” said Joel Reich, Executive Vice President, Storage Systems & Software at NetApp. “We have a customer-first focus on innovations that make life easier for our users through automated analytics and management of storage with easy integrations to the cloud.”

Gartner Peer Insights Customers’ Choice selections are based on recognitions of vendors submitted by verified end-user professionals. The criteria also consider both the number of customer reviews and the overall user ratings.
