As Shenzhen’s newest offering to the global IT industry, networking solutions’ vendor Axilspot recently announced its official launch into the Indian market. CEO Bruce Zhou talks about the company’s vision, game plan and market offerings in an exclusive with Enterprise IT World.

Q. What is Axilspot’s Vision?

Axilspot’s vision is to be one of the most preferred enterprise wireless networking brands in the global market. We also envision creating a highly skilled workforce across the globe to propel our growth.

Q.How do you think Axilspothas an edge overcompetition in the market?

Most of the prevailing popular brands have failed to secure margins for theirpartners, at the same time multiple takeovers confused the market as well as made customers feel insecure.We are here to stay long and strong, we care about our partners and customers and will be taking best possible steps to ensure a mutually prosperous relationship and not just become another brand of selling boxes.

Q. How do you find networking market in India currently?

There seems to be a greatscope, as 90% of the market is yet to get streamlined.With the new Govt. initiatives, IT infrastructure will grow in rapid pacein the coming years.Typically rural market still seems to be an unchartered territory and is waiting to be explored.

For Axilspot, India is one of the key markets. We have already set up our India office and Regional Head and are now in the process of streamlining India operations. We will also aggressively focus on expanding our team to support our customers and in future we will be investing heavily to setup our own R&D centres in India.

Q. Which industry verticals are generating major demand for network gear?

Overall, it’s the home users who generate more demand for WiFi routers globally. To add to it Axilspot is an enterprise brand, dealing in technology products for diversified verticalssuch as Financial, Hospitality, Education and Government.

Q. IsAxilspotinterested in initiatives like Digital India Programme and Make in India?

Axilspot has Rscan patented technology for high density deployments and user data analytics. We offer complete solutions tocomplement smart city and digital India initiatives.We have just entered theIndian market and are in the process of discussion with consultants and solution providers who work closely in these projects.We also have a strong R&D and Software development team to customize the diversified needs or any additional requirements in such projects. Post 2018 we will consider participating in Make in India once we have enough large projects to close and work on.

Q. What are your expansion plans for India? Which part of the country is Axilspottargeting initially?

We have massive plans for India;we have appointed a Regional Director to take care of the India and SAARC market. In the next few weeks, we will be making further appointments to ensure good support to partners at local level. Going forward we are planning to setup R&D, development and even have plans to participate in the Make in India project. We are hopeful and are contemplating to be up and streamlined within next 5 years.As an Enterprise brand we will first like to focus on all metro cities and specifically south and west will be our major focus areas.

Q. What is the future road map of the company? 

Being in to Enterprise Technology domain, currently we are focusing on WiFi. Our key focus area will be Big Data,Cloud, IOT and Cyber Security etc.We are moving ahead with strong road map and are already in the process of setting up teams globally.
