Xerox Strengthens Digital Printing Equipments Portfolio

Launches the Wide Format IJP 2000 and Xerox 570 at Print Expo 2014

With the aim of further strengthening its digital printing equipments portfolio, Xerox India has launched the Wide Format IJP 2000 and Xerox 570 at Print Expo 2014, held in Chennai from 18th-20th April 2014.

The new Wide Format IJP 2000 meets the growing demand for large indoor posters, signages, point-of-purchase graphics, banners and gives printers the extra speed needed to produce more jobs faster announced the press release.

Commenting on the launch, Vipin Tuteja, Executive Director, Technology, Channels & International Business, Xerox India, said, “We knew there was a market for Wide Format equipments and therefore took a conscious decision to launch Wide Format IJP 2000 & Xerox 570 at Print Expo 2014 in Chennai. The IJP 2000 breaks the mould in terms of speed and brings a huge competitive advantage to our customers.”

He also added, “2013 was a year of uncertain economic conditions and was slow for the printing industry. However Q1 of CY 2014 has shown some positive signs. Our digital printing business is growing by 20% and South continues to be a key market for us. At the Print Expo 2014, this year we have showcased a wide portfolio of digital presses covering the whole spectrum, ranging from entry to mid-segment digital printing equipment – Xerox Phaser 7800/7830 series, Xerox 560, Xerox Color J75, Xerox Color C75 and Wide Format 6705.”
