Oracle Management Cloud Witnesses High Demand in India

Customers are able to derive value from Oracle Management Cloud within minutes

Oracle India announced that Oracle Management Cloud is experiencing exceptional growth within its first year of launch. Indian firms have been early adopters of this cloud service – it’s proven to provide them with smarter insights and swifter action, some, in as little as 15 minutes.

Safexpress, National Stock Exchange of India, Karur Vyasya Bank and HCL Technologies are among the many companies around the world that have selected Oracle Management Cloud to transform the way they manage their operations.

Companies across the globe are experiencing dramatic changes in the nature of development and IT management, eg. applications are evolving more rapidly; architectures are loosely coupled; consumers have lower tolerance for bad performance and have direct access via social media to voice their frustrations. IT operations therefore need to deal with the pressure of supporting increased agility, while retaining customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Part of the Oracle Cloud Platform, Oracle Management Cloud is a suite of next-generation integrated monitoring, management, and analytics cloud services that leverage machine learning and big data techniques against the full breadth of the operational data set. Oracle Management Cloud’s unified platform helps customers improve IT stability, prevent application outages, increase DevOps agility and harden security across their entire application and infrastructure portfolio.

Explains Prakash Ramamurthy, senior vice president, Systems Management and Security, Oracle, “Companies relying on existing monitoring tools fall short in one of two ways (a) First-generation tools lack the ability to deliver insight from data, and therefore expect human operators to draw conclusions from massive volumes of data (b) Second-generation tools apply advanced analytical techniques to deliver insights, but only for a subset of operational data, so human intervention is required to  make sense from silos of information.”

Said Subash Nambiar, VP – Technology, Oracle India, “By applying machine learning to the entire operational data set, Oracle Management Cloud is able to offer a complete, integrated, next-generation suite of systems management solutions designed and built for heterogeneous applications and infrastructure; running across multi-cloud environments. It eliminates multiple information silos across end-user and infrastructure data — silos that traditionally provided limited visibility and created inefficiency.

Sanjay Bakshi, Senior Manager, IT, Safexpress said, “With Oracle Management Cloud, we have been able to manage our IT more efficiently. We are able to detect problems before they impact users. For example we are able to detect issues like slow transactions and resolve them proactively and faster. This is making a difference in our customer experience.”
