Corpkart: Wants to Change the Corporates’ buying of IT assets

Why Corpkart?

Corpkart is an attempt to build a large, scalable business which enables corporate customers to have access to technology products in an efficient and transparent way. We built the online platform as it presents the decisionmakers with the right tools for research, evaluation and comparison. Corpkart allows OEMs to share their offerings with the large relevant audience right at the point of consideration. We see Corpkart emerge as the preferred partner for leading OEMs to take their products to institutional and corporate customers.

What is the business model of Corpkart?

Corpkart lists and sells Technology hardware and Software products from leading tech OEMs in its online platform. Dedicated Corpkart sales and product specialists support customers in the process.

In addition to offering the ability to buy products, Corpkart completes the proposition by presenting solutions related to complete life cycle of IT assets which are customised to the stage of the organization itself, whether it’s is a startup or a large mature company.
Corpkart offers Asset refresh programs where we remove and purchase the existing end of life products installed in an organization. As the next step in addition to standard credit terms Corpkart is offering leasing or rental options as preferred by a company in line with their capital allocation strategy.

During the life of the products, a free warranty management and asset tracking tool from Corpkart allows corporations to ensure that their IT infrastructure is always available and they benefit from warranty and service provisions.
Corpkart completes the cycle with assured buyback and EOL upgrades options.

What is the unique value proposition of Corpkart.com?

A business model strongly anchored in an online strategy is an imperative today. This is the prerequisite to exist today and essential to be future ready. Having upfront information and comparison of products while you are planning your IT strategy and budgets is a game changer. Corpkart is the pioneer in this space and while we work to introduce our capabilities we also hope that progressive CXOs will see the incredible range of benefits of a transparent platform that is offering a new approach to acquisition, management and disposal of IT assets.

Do you think you are alternative to traditional business or you would like to complement?

Corpkart goal is to change the way corporations procure and manage their standard IT hardware and software assets. We believe that they should have a linear scalable access to the core IT infrastructure which is always current and grows with their needs.

To this end, we are offering a range of solutions that address complete life cycle and companies can pick the elements relevant to them. We are building on top of the traditional business model of selling IT hardware and software, but our goal is to integrate all elements of corporate IT requirement set and turn the generic parts into an on-demand utility covering everything other than business-specific application software.

What has been your growth so far? What is your expectation for 2018-19 from the revenue point of view?

We plan to extend our reach to 10,000 business and institutional customers from the current set of 1000 customers. We also plan to be the partner of choice in the country for the leading technology OEMs when it comes to reaching out to the corporate customers. While we are already at 100 Cr revenue we hope that revenue growth will track the expansion of customer set.
Our target is to make our customers IT procurement efficient by 20% or more. If we are able to deliver that, it will be an awesome measure of our success.
